Well if you make guacamole without adding a packet of guacamole mix, you are guaranteed to have it gluten-free. Why? It’s all veggies!
Here is my recipe:
4 Avocados (peeled, seeded, mashed)
1/2 Red Onion (chopped in chopper)
2-8 Cloves Garlic (peeled, chopped in chopper)*
1-2 Yellow Peppers or Jalapeno Peppers (seeded, chopped in chopper)
Bunch of Cilantro (chopped in chopper)
2 Tomatoes (Chopped – not in chopper)
Salt to taste
Mix all ingredients together. Enjoy!
Just know the garlic is raw. You should only eat this guacamole with others who are eating otherwise, they will NOT want to be near you. The garlic is a wonderful anti-fungal so those who suffer from yeast issues, can feast and have the added benefit of killing off some of that yeast.
This guacamole is a real treat for your immune system. It has the amazing avocado, lycopene in the tomatoes, dark green leafies, the garlic, as mentioned before, and onions have a ton of cancer-fighters. Peppers… just for good measure and great flavor.
So, stop feeling guilty about the avocados! Enjoy this knowing you are giving your body a total nutritional boost. How can you go wrong with all those veggies, right?
